The School Program for Building Resilience and Coping
IDRAAC implemented a project funded by the European Union entitled “School Program for Building Resilience and Coping”. 1353 students have benefited from the program whose aim was to teach them skills to help, face stressful situations and the pressures of daily life. The sessions were included within the curricula of 17 schools, both public and private, under the supervision of 44 teachers who were trained for that purpose.
“BE STRONG” was adopted as the slogan for this program which is not about physical strength but reflects an inner attitude: being strong to adapt and cope with different types of stress and in the face of difficult situations. We also distributed the developed posters and educational materials to schools in partnership with the Ministry of Education.
