  • Mental Health Trainer

    We are hiring a Mental Health Trainer to join our dynamic team!

     

    Tasks include the following:
    Development and piloting of training materials related to mental health in the workplace.
    Providing guidelines for the recruitment of trainees and the promotion of the training service to businesses and individuals. 
    Delivering trainings about mental health in the workplace to HR managers and managers from businesses and organizations 
    Working on assessment tools for trainees.
    Delivering reporting packages related to the provided trainings. 
    Supporting the current training team in developing and evaluating existing and future training packages.
    Providing shadowing / co-delivering to new trainers.

     

    Qualifications:
    Advanced University Degree in Psychology (PsyD or PhD) or Psychiatry (MD).
    A minimum of 8 years of working experience within a mental health and training setting.
    Professional experience in mental health sessions delivery and capacity building.
    Excellent command of English and Arabic (French is a plus).
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    Organization and time management skills.
    Strong problem-solving skills.
    Excellent group facilitation skills and awareness of group dynamics.

  • Adult Psychiatrist

    We are pleased to announce that we have an opening for an Adult Psychiatrist in the Department of Psychiatry and Clinical Psychology at Saint George Hospital University Medical Center, Saint George University Beirut, Lebanon.

    The Department of Psychiatry and Clinical Psychology was established 40 years ago; it started the first mental health unit in Lebanon and the region, combining psychiatric and psychological professional care within a general hospital which provides all other medical services. Ever since, the Department has offered evidence-based individualized psychiatric and psychological treatments for all age groups, while excellence and care are insured, 24/7 emergency, inpatient & outpatient services. Research opportunities abound, lead jointly, with our partners, on site and internationally. The research section is planned and implemented in close coordination with the Institute for Development Research Advocacy and Applied Care (IDRAAC). IDRAAC is a pioneering, non-governmental organization and research institute in Lebanon and the region, founded by the members of our Department. IDRAAC’s main activities are not only to continuously conduct research but also to disseminate related findings to increase mental health awareness, inform policies and offer community services.

    The open position for an Adult Psychiatrist entails clinical, academic and research; all are responsibilities in a progressive work environment which provides a solid career track for professionals.
