From December 5 to 9 2022, The International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (IACAPAP) organized a congress titled: “Enhancing the future of our children and youth” in Dubai World Trade Centre joining world renowned professionals working on children and adolescents’ mental health.

During the symposium titled: “Child Psychiatric Epidemiology in Young Children: Methods to be used in Very Different Settings”, Professor Elie Karam from our team, gave a presentation about “Post-Traumatic Stress Symptoms in Lebanese Children and Adolescents: the Role of Sensitivity and Positive Environment” where he presented our recent research on war, childhood adversities and sensitivity in PTSD among Syrian refugees while exploring the association of childhood adversities, positive home experience and PTSD in Lebanese children and adolescents.
