Strengthening Identification & Referral System through Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR)

IDRAAC, with the support of International Rescue Committee (IRC) and the World Bank, started a new project: Strengthening Identification & Referral System through Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR).

This project will generate a common support portal and referral tools and will allow covering the needs of different community groups, in collaboration with relevant organizations such as the IRC, the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Social Affairs, to develop a community-based rehabilitation response and support groups which might be marginalized and might not be receiving adequate support due to lack of resources and funding.

After mapping the services related to community-based rehabilitation services, the development and piloting of an Identification, Counselling and Referral portal will take place.

This will allow more efficient coordination among different actors, a localized/sustainable response and promote local governance through a platform joining governmental and non-governmental organizations.
