Research Assistant
IDRAAC is looking to recruit a full-time research assistant to work on an international study that focuses on mental health.

Responsibilities
1. Conduct literature review
2. Manage literature databases in Endnote
3. Data Collection
4. Data Analysis
5. Produce statistical outputs, tables, and visualizations of findings
6. Contribute to the write-up of manuscripts
Essential competencies
• Holds a Master’s of Science or Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology and/or Biostatistics
• Expertise in statistical data analysis and data management (ex: STATA/ SPSS)
• Excellent scientific writing and oral communication skills in English
Desirable competencies
• Interest in mental health research
• Previous research experience

Outreach Worker
IDRAAC is in the process of recruiting outreach workers to join our dynamic team.
The outreach worker will identify and follow-up with the most at-risk cases in the community through regular visits and activities.
His/her tasks include:
- Screening of target areas for vulnerable older people and at-risk populations
- Conducting vulnerability assessment to potential beneficiaries in the community
- Contributing to the referral mechanism to needed services at IDRAAC or to other relevant services in the community
- Follow-up visits for persons identified during the assessment
- Provision of basic awareness and support sessions
Qualifications & Requirements:
- University degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work or relevant fields and/or relevant work experience in non-governmental organizations and community projects
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic (French is a plus)
- Good communication skills
- Computer literacy
