  • Social Worker

    IDRAAC is in the process of recruiting a social worker to join our dynamic team.

    His/her tasks will include:
    Providing social assessment to beneficiaries at our offices and home visits for homebound persons as well as referral to needed services.
    Providing individual psychosocial support (PSS) and consultations to selected beneficiaries at their home, while providing advice and support to caregivers. 
    Leading and working with the volunteers to assess, identify and refer older people and their family members to relevant internal and/or external services. 
    Participating in awareness raising activities and support group sessions

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
    University Degree in Social Work or relevant field
    Relevant work experience in non-governmental organizations and community projects 
    Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic (French is a plus)
    Good communication skills
    Computer literacy
    Driving license

  • Outreach Worker

    IDRAAC is in the process of recruiting outreach workers to join our dynamic team.

    The outreach worker will identify and follow-up with the most at-risk cases in the community through regular visits and activities.

    His/her tasks include:

    - Screening of target areas for vulnerable older people and at-risk populations
    - Conducting vulnerability assessment to potential beneficiaries in the community
    - Contributing to the referral mechanism to needed services at IDRAAC or to other relevant services in the community
    - Follow-up visits for persons identified during the assessment
    - Provision of basic awareness and support sessions

     

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    - University degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work or relevant fields and/or relevant work experience in non-governmental organizations and community projects
    - Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic (French is a plus)
    - Good communication skills
    - Computer literacy
