It is with deep sadness, regrets and sorrow that we announce the passing of our colleague, dear friend 
and distinguished Child and Adolescent psychiatrist, Pr. John Fayad. 

He was fighting since a few months, courageously and with so much humbleness against a very bad cancer.

Pr. John Fayyad was recognized locally and internationally for his research on Child and Adolescent 
Mental Health. 

He worked relentlessly and took care of his patients until the very last moments; he was loved by them.

Along with his full dedication to his patients and research, John was known for his love of life and music. 
Many of you might know John as the excellent pianist who never missed an opportunity to share his talent. 
He kept on working and performing until the very last moments of his battle. 
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, daughter, friends, colleagues and family.

John, you will be missed! so much!!
