Dalida Tribute Concerts

“Dalida Tribute Concerts” will take place over three consecutive nights in 2017:

- November 10: in Tripoli at the Safadi Cultural Center at 8 PM.
- November 11: in Beirut at the Villa Rose – Ecole Supérieure des Affaires at 8 PM.
- November 12: in Saida at the Khan Al Sacy at 8 PM.

After her huge success in IDRAAC’s fundraising event in 2012, and back by popular demand, Sandy Sims, Dalida’s most acclaimed French impersonator and her dancers will be giving three exceptional performances.

In 2012, more than 750 attendees attended the event in one night and the show featured more than 30 of Dalida’s best French and Arabic hits.

For 2017, which marks the 30th anniversary of Dalida’s tragic and untimely death, Sandy Sims and her dancers will present their new two-hour live show with 72 costumes inspired by Dalida’s outfits by Loris Azzaro, Pierre Balmain, Jean Dessès et Michel Fresnay and her best hits "Bambino" , “Salma Ya Salama”, "Pour en arriver là" among other timeless performances.
Being one of the most renowned music icons of her time, Dalida’s life joins success and fame while shedding the light on her battle with depression. This is why IDRAAC will be using the profits of this event for IDRAAC’s activities which target depression, one of the most common and treatable mental health conditions in Lebanon.
