The use and abuse of alcoholic beverages begin to produce problems in Morocco. The evaluation of this new toxicomania is difficult because of socio-cultural factors. Research tentatives in this field are fronted against many difficulties issued from the ambiguous status of the use of alcoholic beverages in Morocco as an Islamic country. The author states within this paper results of a pilot study of use and abuse of alcoholic beverages in a medical student milieu.
