The Psychological Screening Inventory was translated into Arabic and administered to 479 Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti Arabs (aged 16-50 yrs), of which 100 were prison inmates. Means, standard deviations, and the pattern of mean differences between the sexes were similar to those reported by R. I. Lanyon (1975) for the English version of the test. One exception was the Alienation scale, on which the mean score of the present Ss was more than one-and-a-half standard deviations above the average. Test-retest reliabilities were satisfactory. Findings support use of the inventory with Kuwaiti Ss.
