Studied clinical and epidemiological characteristics of non-Italian patients admitted to the psychiatric section of a general hospital in Rome, Italy. Human subjects: 108 male and female adults (from various European countries, the US, Africa, Asia, Oceania, India, and the Middle East). Patient characteristics, reasons for being in Italy, psychiatric diagnosis, and relative numbers of Ss with each diagnosis were determined. Test used: Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale.
