Compares the response of 12 Moroccan patients to the dexamethasone suppression test (DST) in the article by the World Health Organization (see PA, Vol 75:20354) to the response of 19 Kuwaiti depressed inpatients and 23 healthy controls. It is suggested that factors such as geographical location and climate be considered when interpreting differences between centers, especially those with similar ethnic features.
