77 delinquent and 99 nondelinquent Saudi males (aged 11-19 yrs) completed a measure of self-concept. Data show that delinquency was significantly associated with negative self-descriptions, with the absence of positive attitudes toward school, and with the absence of participation in socially accepted recreational activities.
