He refused flatly and his refusal was a betrayal to the terrorists' cause. A group of six terrorists came and attacked her family. They massacred all the adults. Nadia, with her sisters, ran away. They were all shocked by this violence. They ran away from the family home and wandered about the streets, finding temporary refuge in many public-lodging centers.
