Examined feelings of death anxiety and depression in Kuwaiti undergraduate students, and examined the reliability and factor structure of the Arabic version (M. Abdel-Khalek, 1997) of the Death Depression Scale (D. I. Templar et al, 1990, DDS). 215 university students completed the DDS and questionnaires concerning death anxiety, death depression, general anxiety, and general depression. Results show that female Ss reported higher levels of death anxiety, death depression, general anxiety, and general depression. Experiences of death anxiety and depression among Kuwaiti Ss were similar to those of US, Egyptian, and Lebanese students observed in previous studies. Factor analysis of the DDS produced the 3 factors of death finality, death sadness, and death depression, with 2 additional factors for male Ss.
