With the prevalence of psychological and psychosomatic symptoms, psychiatrists and clinical psychologists need valid and easy means of diagnosing the existence of symptoms and their increase or decrease in the filed of psychotherapy. This would enable the diagnosing clinician to form a preliminary image that would allow the choice of the treatment method, its direction and effectiveness. The total sample in the present study contained 950 male and female students at Damascus University, employers and various psychological complaining sufferers. In designing the questionnaire, the investigator made use of the international references available and selected the most widespread symptoms, thus the questionnaire contained 53 items.
