Depression following spinal cord injury among Jordanian patients.

This paper involved 38 patients who sustained spinal cord injury (SCI). Beck Depression Inventory was applied to them and to a similar number of a control group. The assessment took place on three stages: 8-12 weeks later and as an outpatient 10-12 weeks later. The results showed that there is significant difference between the study group and the control group. Controlling depression for SCI as they moved following injury, then discharged, later as an outpatient.
