Determined the reliability and factorial structure of the Death Depression Scale (D. I. Templer et al; 1990). 228 Lebanese undergraduates completed the Death Anxiety Scale, Death Depression Scale, the Beck Depression Inventory, and a general anxiety measure. Administration of the psychometric instruments was carried out after the cessation of the 16-yr-long civil war in Lebanon. Results show that alpha reliabilities were either acceptable or high; the Death Depression Scale had a meaningful factorial structure. All of the intercorrelations among the 4 scales were statistically significant.
