Investigated the relationship between identity crisis and depression in 164 university students (aged 21-24 yrs). It was hypothesized that identity crisis would prevail among students. A significant positive correlation was found between scores on an ego identity questionnaire and scores on depression scales. It was also found that females were significantly higher in depression. Results show that identity crisis is prevailing among students.
