Sought to develop a valid and reliable instrument to measure the counseling and educational needs of Arab families with handicapped children. 143 parents of disabled individuals were administered the Scale for the Counseling Needs of Families with Handicapped Children. Results demonstrate the scale's construct, content and discriminant validity, internal consistency and the contribution of each item to the total score
