Identified differences in addictive and aggressive behaviors and social data among 784 male civilians admitted to the addiction department of the Kuwait Psychiatric Hospital. Comparisons were made between drug or alcohol addicts admitted before and after the 1989-92 Iraqi invasion. Marked differences were observed concerning age, education, occupation, marital status, addictive behavior, crime committed, and place of referral and discharge.
