Sought to determine the prevalence of epileptic seizures among students with intellectual disability and to investigate the relationship between distribution of epilepsy and child's sex, age, and level of intellectual disability. Information about the prevalence of epilepsy was extracted from the school records of 378 children attending special education centers for students with intellectual disability in Amman, Jordan. The findings indicated that 19.84% of the sample had a history of epilepsy and that epilepsy became more prevalent with increasing level of intellectual disability. Epilepsy was more prevalent among males than females and among younger than older children, but the differences were too small to be of statistical significance.
