Administered an Arabic scale of anorexia nervosa to 107 female university students. Results indicate a positive correlation between anorexia and depression, anxiety, and obsession. Using a principal components extraction and a varimax rotation, 4 factors were identified: depression of gaining weight, decreasing appetite, anorexia symptoms, and multiple essays of losing weight.
