It has generally been accepted that combat stress reactions are best treated near the war front. The "BICEPS" model is a frequently used model for treating such stress reactions. With the deployment of forces to Saudi Arabia, cases similar to combat stress have occurred during the phase of anticipation of possible combat. The following case report illustrates such a case as well as its successful treatment using the BICEPS model.
