Original version by Dean Foundation. This guide helps define schizophrenia and provides information to the general public about the prevalence of this disorder as well as the medications prescribed, the antipsychotics. The mechanisms of actions of these antipsychotics are explained and the possible side effects are listed. This booklet helps introduce schizophrenia and its medications in a simple manner that makes it accessible to the patients and their families.
Lithium and Manic Depression: A Guide (Translated to Arabic) دليل : الليثيوم والهوس الإكتئابي ،الإضطراب المزاجي ذو القطبين
Original version by James W. Jefferson and John H. Greist. This booklet helps explain the use of Lithium in manic-depression and Bipolar Disorder, such as the initiation of Lithium therapy, the appropriate dose and its possible side effects. It also emphasizes the importance of complying with regular blood tests and the appropriate diet. It also answers many questions asked by patients and highlights practical steps needed during the treatment with Lithium.
