With the organizing help of Mia Atoui, Clinical Psychologist and Co-founder of Embrace, a workshop was given by Caroline Cordahi Tabet, Child & Adolescent Psychologist, Dr. Rachad Rayess, Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist from our team and Tania Bosqi, Child & Adolescent Psychologist from AUB. 

The workshop addressed the psychological responses to trauma in children and adolescents, psychological first aid and intervention, and strategies for referral. 

This workshop was offered to a group of mental health professionals willing to volunteer to support victims of trauma following the horrendous Beirut port explosion on August 4, 2020.
