Dr. Elie Hantouche, international expert on mood disorders, in association with IDRAAC, participated in a roundtable at the Salon du Livre Francophone on November 3, 2018. The roundtable discussed bipolar disorder and was titled: "Are we all Bipolar? "a question that is asked much more often than we think and is the title of the new book "Sommes-nous Tous Bipolaires?" by Dr. Elie Hantouche (Editions Josette-Lyon),
Of Lebanese origins, Dr. Elie Hantouche currently holds the position of Director of the Center for Anxiety and Mood Disorders (CTAH) in Paris.
The round table also hosted Dr. Elie Karam, Adult Psychiatrist and Researcher and President of IDRAAC along with Dr. Aimee Karam, Adult Clinical Psychologist at IDRAAC and President of the Lebanese Psychological Association. The discussion has helped in shedding the light on the prevalence, diagnosis and latest developments in the treatment of bipolar disorder from a psychological and psychiatric perspective on a national and international level.
The discussion was moderated by Dr. Alexandre Najjar, lawyer, writer and literary critic and the roundtable was followed by a book signing with the author, at the stand of Librairie Antoine.
