Dr. Elie Karam, Adult Psychiatrist and President of IDRAAC & Dr. Aimée Nasser Karam, Adult Clinical Psychologist and Board Member of IDRAAC were both invited to give a conference during “La 18 ÈME JOURNÉE NATIONALE DE L’ATPEP (Association Tunisienne des Psychiatres d’Exercice Privé) and “le 8 ÈME CONGRÈS MAGHRÉBIN DE PSYCHIATRIE PRIVÉE” in Sousse, Tunisia, on April 26 & 27, 2019, under the theme “CONTROVERSIES IN BIPOLARITY”. 

Dr. Aimée N. Karam presented an update on how to adapt specific Psychological Therapies to the “TRAMES” Approach in Bipolar Disorders, and Dr. Elie Karam conducted with Dr. Elie Georges Hantouche, Adult Psychiatrist and Director of the CTAH-Recherche (Centre des Troubles Anxieux et de l’Humeur -Paris) a Workshop, titled, “Bipolarity: Why isn’t it well detected yet?”

 

This event was attended by psychiatrists and psychologists from several countries of the Maghreb and has covered the latest controversies and scientific updates on Bipolar Disorders and their treatment.
