Mental Health Law
In 2007, in cooperation with the Office of Minister of State for Administrative Reform (OMSAR) and with the support of the European Union (EU), IDRAAC conducted a project entitled: The Burden of Mental Health in Lebanon. IDRAAC drafted a National Mental Health Law for Lebanon as part of this project. The main purpose of the law is the protection of any person suffering from a mental health disorder. Currently the law is waiting to be adopted by the Lebanese parliament.
